The State Department of Environment Conservation approved permits Friday to expand two Hudson Valley compressor stations along the Iroquois gas pipeline. The DEC permits allow another 12,000 horsepower of compression — a process that repressurizes gas as it moves along the pipeline — at stations in Athens and Dover Plains.
